Internal Disease

The causes of internal disease are constitution, over-exertion and over-work, trauma, emotions, excessive sexual activity, diet, parasites, poisons, medications, drugs, immune conditions and wrong treatment, etc.

TOM (Traditional Oriental Medicine) has a lot of experience to help with the relief of the symptoms of internal disease for many chronic and degenerative diseases, functional disorders, endocrine disorders, age-related diseases, and unknown diagnosis diseases. Also acupuncture and natural herbs have the lowest possible side effects compared to other forms of treatment.

TOM is a system of medicine partly based on the idea that an energy, called qi, flows along pathways in the body called meridians. In this belief, if the flow of qi along these meridians is blocked or unbalanced, illness can occur.

In TOM, the approach is quite different with western medicine. Organs have a much broader meaning and application in TOM. TOM is more consider organs function than the anatomical structure and yin and yang properties or relationships with other organs. In this approach, all things, including the body, are composed of opposing forces called yin and yang. Yin is basically mentioned substances in the body such as blood, body fluid, otherwise yang is expressed body energies to circulate blood/fluid or make warm the body. Yin and Yang are like two masters living in one house called human body. When the balance of power between the two masters is lost, the peaceful time is gone in the house. Therefor the balance of yin and yang can bring peace in the house. It is healthy body we say in TOM.
